Do shelves need to be checked?
Yes! Since shelves are considered work equipment as storage facilities, a whole series of regulations and guidelines apply, which are specified by EKAS and SUVA (UVG, VUV, ArG, PrSG).

Why is it necessary to check?
Loose screw connections, rusty construction points, incorrectly stored load carriers are very dangerous and can lead to serious accidents, endanger human lives and, last but not least, cause significant property damage.

How often does it need to be checked?
The expert inspection according to SN-EN-15635 must be carried out at intervals of no more than 12 months by a qualified, competent person (e.g. certified shelf inspector).
